Small Landlord

My wife and I were trying to see if we could secure our income from the 2 buy to let properties we own. We were, and still are fully aware that private tenants were largely finding it difficult to keep up their rental payments in the difficult times of the increased ‘cost of living’ crisis. We rely upon our rental income and needed to try and find a way to see if we could protect our income and not be reliant upon a private tenant being able to afford to pay us over the long term. We were recommended to Charles Lucas Housing and after finding out how they work and what was on offer to us, it seemed a ‘no brainier’ to lease both our properties directly to them. We really liked the way they worked, making things easy for us, whilst providing above market rental income to us. We liked the fact that we were also helping vulnerable families who were struggling financially but without any financial risk to us. My wife and I could clearly see the benefits of Charles Lucas receiving the rental income direct from local government funds. We can see full transparency of how our rental income is protected throughout the lease, however ultimately Charles Lucas pay us whether our property is filled or not. Great peace of mind.
