We’ve been working with Charles Lucas Housing for a few years now and continue to reap the rewards from what they offer us. We are able to offer our landlords increased rents by leasing to Charles Lucas. This enhances our own landlord / agent relationship, enabling us to promote higher returns for our investor clients. We retain full control of our landlords and Charles Lucas deal directly with us as a leased tenant. Due to the way their business is set up, it minimises our work and we have one point of contact for all the properties we lease to them. We’ve leased a variety of properties to them from Studios to large building blocks. All continue to work very well for us and our landlords.

We’re a professional property portfolio company with a holding of over 80 properties. We traditionally rented each of our properties separately to private tenants, which was costly in terms of engaging the services of Letting Agents and the complexities of moving tenants in and out. After detailed discussions with Charles Lucas, we agreed to lease our whole property portfolio holding to them instead. This has been a game changer for us, as we have one point of contact and are paid each month whether our properties are occupied or not. We particularly found the professionalism of the whole business outstanding, with the employment of their own experienced Housing Officers, who integrate within local authority processes and support each tenant. We used to have the significant costs of maintaining the interior of all our properties, however Charles Lucas have taken this financial responsibility on themselves, for which the savings for us are huge. Small Landlord

My wife and I were trying to see if we could secure our income from the 2 buy to let properties we own. We were, and still are fully aware that private tenants were largely finding it difficult to keep up their rental payments in the difficult times of the increased ‘cost of living’ crisis. We rely upon our rental income and needed to try and find a way to see if we could protect our income and not be reliant upon a private tenant being able to afford to pay us over the long term. We were recommended to Charles Lucas Housing and after finding out how they work and what was on offer to us, it seemed a ‘no brainier’ to lease both our properties directly to them.
